The flute is a wind instruments and it is relatively easier to learn compared to the violin, viola or cello. Do not second guess the difficulty of learning to play the flute. Contact Stradivari Strings at +65-98137769 to arrange a trial lesson to experience it.
The flute is played by blowing into a mouth piece. In doing so you exercise your diaphragm and core muscles. Playing a piece of flute music is similar to doing planking for several intense minutes. You do expand your lung capacity over time.
Working on lesson frequency of once a week, one can take six months to a few years to master playing the flute with flute classes. If you have music background, you will pick up the techniques faster. If you devote adequate practice time on the flute, you will also master it better.
The best age to start flute lessons is 7 to 10 years old. Any younger, the child may not have the strength to hold the flute for long period of time.
